Utah Cutthroat Slam - Bear River Cutthroat Trout

Andrew recently signed up for the Utah Cutthroat Slam. Basically, you pay $20 and then try and catch each of the 4 cutthroat trout that are native to Utah, which are the: Bonneville Cutthroat Trout, Colorado River Cutthroat Trout, Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and Bear River Cutthroat Trout. When you catch each fish, you take a picture of the fish and document the date and place you caught it and after you've caught all 4 different types, you submit the information to the state. The state then gives you a certificate of completion, a Cutthroat Slam medallion and posts your name and pictures on their website! You can only catch the cutthroat in certain places across the state so I've been having fun traveling around with Andrew while he's been trying to catch them. :) So far he's only caught one type: the Bear River Cutthroat Trout, which he caught April 21 at Soldier Creek Reservoir.

Wish him luck on the rest!
