Ercanbrack Family Pictures 2017

It has been 2 years since we had family pictures done with Andrew's family so over Christmas, while everyone was here visiting, we had some taken. I think they turned out pretty well! Andrew suggested the brick wall location and in the end, I think it was one of the best spots we had! Here are some of our favorites:

Merry Christmas 2017!

Christmas Eve!

Amber got a bone filled with peanut butter!

The kitties got Kitty Kick Stix! They loved them!

Andrew had an ice fishing Christmas that included an ice fishing chair that matches his ice fishing tent, a flasher (and carrying case) to see where the fish are under the ice, a new ice fishing rod case as his other one is full ;), a watch designed for fishermen that tells him when it's time to be fishing, some ice fishing lures and a Utah State Parks Annual Pass so he can park at all his favorite lakes and reservoirs!

He also got sharp white cheddar cheese from the Washington State University Creamery from Dale and Leisa! He declared it just as good as Wisconsin cheese, which he says is the very best cheese! :)

I got a mixture of all my favorite things including Pioneer Woman stuff, a pineapple cutting board, car washing stuff since I am obsessed with my new car lately ;), money for new clothes, movie tickets and gift cards to some of my favorite restaurants and my mom handed down to me a camping table cloth that my grandma had made. I was so excited that it was now mine!

We were very blessed once again this year! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Trees 2017

Here they are...our Christmas trees 2017!

Our pretty tree. :)

This year is our first year having all artificial trees. We gave up on having a real tree last year after it took us a whole day to go and get and then get up in our house after a broken tree stand. I really love it!

Our memories and travel tree. :)

Outside Christmas Lights 2017

This year we decided we didn't want to do actual lights, get up on the roof and spend a lot of time so we bought light projectors! They rotate red/green colors and patterns and it's been really fun and was so easy to set up! We included the snowflake light projector we got last year and we were done! Here are the finished pictures with our lighted door wreath and Christmas tree shining through the window. :)

Myron B Haslem October 13, 1937 - November 30, 2017

On Thursday, November 30, 2017, Andrew's Grandpa Haslem passed away. We will miss him!

This past Thursday, we had his memorial services. It was a wonderful day spent with close and extended family. Andrew was able to be a pallbearer and he was honored.

Grandpa Haslem was buried in the Cedarview Cemetery just south of Andrew's sister Michelle so now we can visit them both when we're there. :)

Snowflake plant arrangement sent to Andrew and I from UPCU.

Roosevelt Christmas Tree Lighting 2017

Again this year, Andrew had the opportunity as part of RBA to help at our town's annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Once again, he had Nielsen's deliver some furniture to the stage so Santa and Mrs. Claus had a place to sit and a fireplace to keep warm by while they visited with the kids. I wasn't able to attend as I've been putting in a lot of extra hours at my office recently, but it seemed a huge success once again. :)

New Car

Andrew and I had been looking at getting a new car for a few months now, but it wasn't until Andrew's cousin and my best friend Savannah mentioned that she wanted a new car and in particular a Toyota Rav4, that it all came together! When Savannah mentioned what she was looking for, Andrew offered to sell her our Rav4 if she was interested. She was so we turned around and got what we were looking for, which was a Toyota Highlander! It's just slightly bigger then the Rav4 so it fits Andrew better and I happen to love the color! Technically it's called Sizzling Crimson Mica, but it's purple! Oh yes, PURPLE! I love it!

Work Promotion

Back on November 6, I was promoted at work to Pre-Auth Specialist! I'm now in charge of making sure all of our patients, old and new, are eligible on their insurance and that we have authorization from their insurance for what services we're providing so we can get paid. It's been a ton of work learning my new job and trying to fix a lot of mistakes that had been happening before I took over. I've been working about 45 hours a week since, but one of these days it will all come together and I'm definitely enjoying the pay raise. ;)
