Oregon Trip Day 2 - Portland, OR to Seattle, WA

Sunday morning Andrew wanted to stop at Voodoo Doughnut before we headed to Seattle. It's a Portland "must do" and it was fun!

Crossing back into Oregon on our way to VooDoo Doughnut.

Andrew got a maple bacon doughnut and a Homer Simpson doughnut (pink with sprinkles) along with a few others. :)

Our rental car.

On our way to Seattle!

Our first stop in Seattle was the Seattle Great Wheel!

The Norwegian Pearl was docked in Seattle. This was our Alaskan cruise ship and we've also seen it docked in Florida!

Back of the Public Market Center sign in the skyline.

It was a rainy morning, but what's Seattle without the rain? ;)

Our next stop was the Gum Wall. It smelled so disgusting and it wasn't even a hot day in Seattle, but it was a "must see". :)

From there we were almost to Pike Place Market!

Fish Counter

The most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen! Amazingly cheap too!

First Sur La Table location next to Beecher's Cheese!

Rachel the Pig!

After we left the Market, we went to our hotel to check in. We were staying at The Maxwell Hotel, but I called it the pineapple hotel because everything inside and out was pineapple themed! Here are just a few of the pineapple-themed pictures:

Lobby Floor

Pineapple cups filled with pineapple-flavored water on pineapple coasters.

After we checked in, we walked over a couple of blocks to the Seattle Center. Andrew wanted to check out the Nirvana exhibit at the EMP Museum.

We loved spending the day in Seattle!
