Baltic Capitals Cruise Vacation Day 7 - Helsinki, Finland

Friday we awoke in Helsinki, Finland. Our excursion was a tour by land and sea so first we boarded a boat that took us all around the waters of Helsinki.

Finnish ice breaker fleet. They were the reason I chose this excursion! Pretty cool!

Now on to the land tour!

Loved how these flowers were planted in shoes!

Oh baby! ;)

Helsinki Olympic Stadium

Sibelius Monument

Temppeliaukio Church or Church of the Rock

Pepsi...even in Finland. ;)

 Hard Rock Cafe Helsinki!

When we got back to our cabin that afternoon, look what was waiting for us! I literally hugged it and look at all those tags!! I have the say that Norwegian was so good to us when it came to our lost luggage. They gave Andrew a hygiene kit, they kept in touch with the airline so the airline always knew where we were and as soon as our bag landed in Helsinki, they sent someone to the airport to pick it up for us. Amazing and we were so thankful!

That night Andrew and I had made a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants onboard. It was an Asian restaurant called Ginza. It was super delicious especially the dessert I had: warm banana pancakes with coconut ice cream. :D

Tonight's towel animal was a dinosaur. :)

  1. Yikes! I didn't realize you didn't have your luggage this entire time. No fun :(

  2. Finland looks AMAZING! And your lost luggage was just about as beautiful. ;)

  3. I love the way you start each post with your get off the ship picture of each country!
