Cutting Christmas Trees 2012

Andrew didn't have to work the day after Thanksgiving this year so we took advantage of the opportunity to spend that morning up in the mountains with my family getting our Christmas trees. It's something I really look forward to every year, but this year we decided to take our dog Amber with us as well. She had so much fun with Andrew searching for the perfect tree. :)

 Off to find the tree!

Doing the trick Andrew taught her...dancing. ;)

Doug helping us carry our tree the rest of the way to the truck.

Amber is still ready for more!

Lincoln and Kinley loved Amber! Kinley wanted to be in one of the pictures with Amber and then she told us how cute she was and gave her a kiss on the head. It was the cutest thing. :)

Amber slept the whole way home and didn't make a peep. Probably the first time we've ever worn out all her energy ;), but she loved every second of being out there with us!

  1. Fun!!! I am sad to have missed that tradition.... :( Those pics were great and I loved hearing the story about Kinley, cute! We just got back from Lowes, where we found our Christmas tree in a lot full of wet trees all bunched together. It smells amazing in our house though! We decorated it tonight and it is small but cute :) Miss you
