Our San Antonio Vacation Day 2

Friday morning we woke up to fabulous weather. The temperature was in the high 70's with little to no humidity and it stayed that way for the rest of our trip thankfully! We decided to drive back to downtown San Antonio and visit The Alamo.

Afterward we walked across the street to San Antonio's wax museum. We didn't visit the museum, but we did have our hands made in wax!

Then we headed down to San Antonio's famous Riverwalk and took a Riverwalk cruise tour.

Later on we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe along the Riverwalk. That was a really fun experience. It's kind of like the Mayan in SLC, but doesn't serve Mexican food. We were seated by this huge aquarium that had tropical fish swimming in it. It reminded Andrew of the fish he saw while snorkeling in Hawaii and every so often the "rainforest" had a thunderstorm, which was pretty cool. They took our picture at the restaurant also, which we liked and ended up purchasing. I always think it's kind of fun to buy those pictures while on vacation.

These were some fun barstools you could sit at at the bar in the restaurant.

  2. The weather in S.A. can be brutal! I'm glad there were a couple mild days! The Riverwalk is so much fun! If you ever want to come back to S.A., look me up!
